Jeff is a 1973 graduate of Queen's University (Arts 74) and maintains an active alumni relationship with the school. He is a past member of the Board of Trustees (2002-2008) its Nominating and Advancement Committees, the Queen's University Council on Athletics, the Executive Committee of the $230 million Queen's Centre project, and the Board of the Queen's Alumni Association.
Jeff is also an avid chronicler of Queen's Sports activities through his photographic endeavours, with a particular emphasis on the Queen's Golden Gaels Football Team.
Jeff was also a member of the Queen's University Alumni Association Board of Directors, Chairman of its Corporate Sponsorship Task Force, Chairman of the Volunteer Committee, and a member of its Nominations Committee and Affinity Program Committee. In 2004 his achievements were recognized by the Association with the Herb Hamilton Award.
